First 24 Hours in London

So I finally was able to get an adapter for my room and I am re-connected to society outside of London. I flew in yesterday (a 9hr flight from DFW to Frankfurt Germany, and then another hr and a half flight from Germany to London), and got to take the tube (underground) to my dorm!

 My plane=Lufthansa

Some pretty floor in DFW airport

The plane had TVs in the back of the headrests!

Got to watch my favorite movie-DIVERGENT!
My dinner. Pasta, salad, brownie, roll with butter! It made my stomach hurt afterwards. It was so good!

Germany from 30,000 miles above ground!

Later that day I had the best Caribbean food at Nando's, and then went to shower off the smell of travel and sleep!

Today we went on the Big Bus Tour and got to see London: Big Ben, London Bridge (which isn't falling anymore-unlike the song from our youth), and Tower bridge-the spice girls drove over it in Spice World! We also got to see St. Paul's Cathedral and we saw the London Eye. My camera died after seeing Big Ben, but below are allll the photos I was able to take! Enjoy! These photos look VERY touristy btw.

Overall I am enjoying London but with all that we did yesterday and today I feel like it's been more than 24 hours. Texas is 6 hours ahead of London so right now it is almost 9pm. London is VERY PRETTY and very cold! it was cold enough for my to wear a cardigan (that I left in my room-Texas mindset does not work here) until about 1p.m. it got warmer nicer. The cars move quickly and people walk fast and they do not use "thank you" or "excuse me" so that is something to get used to. The currency rate isn't that nice either, one pound is equal to almost 2 american dollars. fish and chips here is about 9 pounds (quid is the slang term for pounds) so that's 18 bucks USD.
